This weekend we have got the yard ready for winter. Katie , Nathan , Alex and Marcus all were with us since Thursday and Annalisa is always happy to have everyone around . Christopher a little 5 year old boy is also living with us at the moment,so a busy weekend with food for 7 every meal .
We have been procrastinating getting the pool winterized so Leon got to that this weekend also so happy to have it done . The girls that have been living with us are spending more and more time with their mum so they are not back until later this week .
Marcus loved his second soccer game today and the older kids all came to cheer him on . He is very proud of his orange soccer shirt . We were also working on Christmas presents this weekend but as that is a secret I can't talk to much about it . The weekend went by without any huge incidents or bad behaviours something that is always a good thing . The kids played good together - most of the time they play soccer , jump on the trampoline and play either their x-box 360 or game cube . Marcus and Katie are big on reading and can't get enough books in house for them . I spent a few hours today baking 3 different kind of cookies for the kids lunches this week . I do spend time trying to figure out how to save money on our food budget and baking saves me dollars every week .
Annalisa has a bad cold and her little nose is running like crazy not a easy thing when you are bottle feeding and can't breath with your nose . Leon is struggling with his asthma today so I hope the week is a better one for him . Lunches are made for tomorrow and the kids are in bed .... so bring it on Monday .. I am ready .
